Dear Silvia,
Greetings and well wishes from us in St. Anne's. The amount of $5,980.00 = GH¢ 8,668.61 (Ghana Cedis) that you sent to us has reflected in our accounts No. xxxxxxxxxx502 Ghana Commercial Bank.
We thank you and your group members very sincerely for your sympathy towards our needy girls and all your sacrifices. God will surely reward you on our behalf.
In a week's time we shall resume from holidays and when the girls report to school I will be in a position to give you a list of the beneficiaries. I am also looking forward to talking to you on the 18th of September, so that I can get details of how you want us to report to you when we disburse the money to run the term.
Once again thank you and may God richly bless you.
Gabriella D. Wumnaya (Mrs)
Principal of St. Anne's Secondary
Damongo, Ghana, West Africa
NOTE: The donations received so far are making it possible for 15 high school girls to live and study at St. Anne's Boarding Highschool for the school year 2009-2010.

Silvia Morgan has brought to us our present project. As the CEO of our Ghana Highschool Project, she researched a highschool in Ghana, West Africa. This school has been identified as meeting the requirements we have established for our organization. More specifically, a boarding school with a strong humanities and business curriculum which serves 153 girls at present. New students are being tested for the September 2010 school year. The goal is to allow the school to board and educate a total of 160 female students, offering them a chance to improve their chances in life.

St. Anne's Boarding School |

The situation of women is marked by exploitation on all levels. From childhood on the girls work in the house, fetch water, cook, wash, clean, farm, take care of the children etc. Women and girls are the most deprived group in the diocese. Education in general is lowest in this part of the country and education of women for that matter is still lower. Successive governments have always neglected this area, and women development has consequently suffered greatly. There are very few educated women from the indigenous tribal groups in the diocese.
