Greetings and well wishes from us in St. Anne's. The amount of $5,980.00 = GH¢ 8,668.61 (Ghana Cedis) that you sent to us has reflected in our accounts No. xxxxxxxxxx502 Ghana Commercial Bank.

We thank you and your group members very sincerely for your sympathy towards our needy girls and all your sacrifices. God will surely reward you on our behalf.

In a week's time we shall resume from holidays and when the girls report to school I will be in a position to give you a list of the beneficiaries. I am also looking forward to talking to you on the 18th of September, so that I can get details of how you want us to report to you when we disburse the money to run the term.

NOTE: The donations received so far are making it possible for 15 high school girls to live and study at St. Anne's Boarding Highschool for the school year 2009-2010.

Thanks to the generosity and hard work of hosts Sara Weber and Bob Hurlbett, volunteers Jill and Kevin Dumain, their nephew Aaron Luth, and Bob Morgan, the fundraising benefit on August 15th 2009 was a great success! Guests enjoyed Argentine foods and wines as well as music by Cafe con Leche, a live band composed of husband and wife musicians Marizella and Jake Jacobus who donated their talent for the enjoyment of all. Dulce de leche icecream was served in cups donated by Spoon, a Santa Barbara based gelatto store.
